Workshop: Yoga for Every BODY

Yoga is often championed as a practice that is inclusive for all body types and abilities. However, without information on how to make the postures accessible, a physical asana practice may have notable gaps of accessibility.

This workshop will look at ways to make this practice an empowering experience for all. Explore ways to tailor yoga postures to accommodate all shapes, sizes, and abilities.

This workshop seeks to prove that there is no such thing as a "yoga body", but rather that every body can do yoga.

 Cost: $20.00

This class offers a chance to come together one last time before sweetly saying sayonara. Join us for this 60-minute practice as we celebrate our seniors and send them on the next leg of their journey filled with positive vibes.

Training: How to Teach Open Levels

Training: How to Teach Open Levels

We often hear the terms basic, intermediate, advanced, and open levels as categories we divide yoga classes into when practicing in a group setting. These categories can mean different things to both teacher and student as we all have a unique experience with the practice of yoga and all of its layers. During our 500 hour teacher training we will go deeper into the discussion, practice, and methods of how to teach to each level while staying committed to the needs of the individual.

The open level class can be one of the most difficult classes to teach as the experience level of the students may be extremely diverse.  This teacher training course will provide you with tools and techniques to allow you to manage your attention to meet the needs of all of your students while keeping your focus on the overall needs of the class.

FRIDAY 2/22 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
SATURDAY 2/23 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
SUNDAY 2/24 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Cost: $350.00 for the entire weekend.

Workshop: Beyond Asana- An Introduction to Yoga Philosophy for Students

Exploration of the Chakras:

With limited time in a yoga class, it can be challenging to fully explore the philosophical pieces that create the backbone of the practice. This series of workshops is designed for those looking to gain greater knowledge about 'why' we do what we do in the yoga space. Each of these workshops are designed to stand independently (meaning that you can take the ones that pique your interest) giving you greater knowledge to apply on your mat.

This month, explore the chakra system. This subtle energy system consisting of "swirling energy vortexes" connect your physical body to your spiritual body. Accessing these centers is said to cultivate greater harmony, happiness, and wellbeing in our lives.
